1. The feeling of Christmas as a young child....Not really understanding the meaning, but knowing you are going to be surrounded by family and getting gifts...The excitement of Christmas Eve dinner with family and rushing home to get in bed to see if Santa brought you what your heart so desired. Waking up at the crack of dawn because you knew your presents would be under the tree.... Nothing in the world like that feeling and I can only imagine that it will come back when I have little one's of my own...I CANNOT wait!
2. Christmas with my sweet Grandmother... I miss her SOO much...especially this time of year..She passed away in January 08....and I just miss her so much...She got so much joy out of seeing us on Christmas Day....As sick as she always was and as bad as she always felt, she got up, made us dinner and spent the entire afternoon playing with the kids and chatting with the adults...She was probably the strongest woman that I have ever met....Man what I wouldn't give to sit down and have a conversation with her again...to just hear her voice...just one more time...my hero <3
