miscellany monday

*one* wonderful christmas. mine was, was yours? my husband had to work, but we still got to spend some valuable time together.  i worked until noon on christmas eve day, then headed home to open gifts with my husband.  and guess what he got me?!?!?!?!

my very first dslr! i have been wanting to upgrade from my point and shoot but with ivf and all it just wasn't something i could go buy...well my sweet hubby surprised me with it!! i was so happy.  i <3 him so much

 then headed over to my bff / matt's cousin's house for lunch with his family.  there we got $50 a piece from his mom and i got a cute fleece throw with my initial on it for the living room.

then we went home, matt got dressed for work, and i headed on over to my grandmothers for dinner and dirty santa.  matt got to drop by and eat and play.  there i got a snuggie type blanket that has sleeves and a pocket.  (i lived in it yesterday :) ) and matt got a huge flashlight, which is right up his alley.  i went home late, since i had to go home alone, and went to bed...on christmas day, matt didn't get off work until 6 am, so i let him sleep until 10 and we headed to my moms for breakfast and gifts! i got 3 vera bradley bags, a brighting jewelry set, stainless steel pot and pan, and some little nicknacks..matt got some auburn tigers pjs and an xbox, which he loooved... we then had lunch with matt's grandparents...his grandma got me a little charm in the shape of a baby carriage..it was the sweetest thing...we also got money from them and some gift cards...so we had a pretty good christmas...i may post pictures of my loot later!

*two* just dance. is what caused my massive soreness yesterday.  some girls and one husband came over since we were husbandless (minus the one) and didn't want to spend christmas alone..so we danced for almost 4 hours...wow..thats all i can say...we litterally danced our behind's off and it was soooo much fun!

*three* getting excited. my next period is roughly 3 weeks away.  what is the significance you say? well this will mark the beginning of our treatments! I will have a day three ultrasound and blood work, and then we will be on to the injection training! woo hoo! i dream the pain like hell but i am so excited to become a mommy.  i know this will work because GOD knows how much we want to be parents and thus far he has allowed things to fall into place.  we applied for the compassionate care program last week..we should know this week whether or not we will get our medication for free..so everyone please pray for us...our starting will be affected by this because we will have to borrow the money for meds if we don't receive this program.....
