Ahhh, sweet summertime ......

Ahhh, gotta love the sweet Tennessee summer.  So hot you cant walk from your front door to the carport without getting drenched in sweat...You can't take an evening walk after dinner without getting covered in mosquito bites, and you can't make a trip to Walmart without seeing a curvy size 12 southern belle wearing a size 6 skinny jean.

Regardless, I love the pop up showers, jumping into the ice cold pool or creek after scorching in the sun for hours...The smell of grilled burgers and hot dogs in the air on Sunday afternoon...Congregating with family under the only shade tree outdoors... Watching the kids run and play in the yard (even if they aren't my own)....And the beautiful Tennessee sunsets...

The idiot teenagers loitering the Walmart parking lot or driving the "strip" with their radio's up and windows down...And reminiscing about when I was stupid and did the same things..


Fresh mowed lawns....Fire pits....

Ahhh...sweet Tennessee summer

    another summer lover here grew up in TX, moved to AR and now in NC due the beach close by NC is the best summer place so far :) infertile here to, one day we'll have our own out there sticky from popsicles & watermelon juice :)
