Top Two Favorite Gifts!

This is a hard one! I am not a big gift giver / getter.  I always tell people not to get me things, it makes me feel bad...crazy, I know... but I guess my number one (that I can remember) would be

1.  Coffee and end tables!

They are made very similar to this set.  Mine doesn't have the drawers and are a little darker stain than these, but same idea as far as the woodwork. 

These were a gift from my best friend, who is also my husband's cousin.  She knows how hubby is as far as money and being EXTREMELY picky.  She had gone to a little store in town with him and he fell in love with this set, but refused to buy it because of the price.  After MANY days of searching and arguing, she showed up at our new (coffee table less) house with the brand new set!!!!!!!!!!!

2.  I am having a brain fog here....but I guess my 2nd favorite gift would be the car my parents got me when I was 17.

Year 16 for me was a bad one.  After having my license for about 3 months, I totaled mom's car dodging a deer.  Then about 7 months into being 16, I totaled my dad's truck when I hydroplaned.  So, needless to say I didn't deserve a car.  I deserved to be riding the big yellow bus all the way to school with the little kids, but instead, my parents bought me a car! It was used, had over 100,000 miles on it...but it was MINE!! My very own white, 4 door 1999 Pontiac Grand AM!! I drove that thing from the time I was 17 until I was a few years into college!
